On May 29th, a delegation of five members led by Prof. Dr. Wattna Rattanaprom, President of Suratthani Rajabhat University (SRU), Thailand, visited Jilin International Studies University(JISU). President of JISU, Qin He attended the meeting. The two parties reached a consensus on educational cooperation and international exchanges and signed an educational cooperation agreement to jointly advance the development of both institutions.

JISU and SRU Hold Cooperation Talks
The talks laid a solid foundation for deepening educational exchanges and collaboration between the two universities. Both sides agreed to maintain close communication, explore more inter-university cooperation opportunities, and work together to cultivate high-quality applied, interdisciplinary, and globally oriented talents.
During the visit, the Thai delegation toured the library, Global Village, international student dormitories, and International Exchange Center. They expressed strong recognition of the university’s educational philosophy of "prioritizing students' holistic development, academic growth, and future success" and its commitment to "student-centered education with the highest sense of responsibility." The delegation acknowledged the university’s efforts in creating an excellent internationalized teaching and learning environment and its outstanding achievements in global education, expressing eagerness for deeper exchanges and cooperation.
Vice President Wang Zhiguo and representatives from the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation received the delegation and participated in the talks.
Suratthani Rajabhat University (SRU) is located on Thailand’s eastern coast, approximately 700 kilometers from Bangkok. Established in 1973 as Suratthani Teachers College, it was renamed Suratthani Rajabhat Institute in 1992 and gained full university status as a comprehensive institution in 2004.
