A 6-person Counsellor Team from the Sichuan Provincial Government delegated by Wang Kang visited Jilin International Studies University (JISU) on June 20, 2019. They were escorted by Du Keliang, the director of the Private Education Agency of the Education Department of Jilin Province.

The counsellors visited the Centre Square, Global Village (a national experimental teaching demo-center), library, and International Exchanges Center. They highly praised the university’s mission— “All is for students to be integrated, talented and successful” and its motto “Striving to provide students with the most reliable, responsible and quality education.” They also commended the high quality facilities and internationalization-oriented environment that’s been carefully created by JISU.

Both parties then had a meeting in the International Exchanges Center, during which President Qin He briefly overviewed the development of the university.

The counsellor team unanimously claimed that as a flagship of private universities nationwide, JISU has indeed diligently served its students and the public. As a result, its reputation as a great university has grown. The university cultivates a large number of application-oriented qualified linguistic professionals which promotes the advancement of the national “One Belt One Road” Initiative and the development of local economy. Its sublime schooling philosophy, objective top-level design, and internationalization-oriented education has led to great development in the pursuit of being a centenary-old university. They are convinced that under the leadership of President Qin He, the university is bound to contribute more to the development of the “One Belt One Road” Initiative and the Jilin Provincial economy in general.
