On December 16th, Anna Maria-Linhard (Chinese name: An Na), a German teacher from our school, won the “Changbai Mountain Friendship Award of Jilin Province” after the evaluation of the Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs of Science and Technology Department in Jilin Province. This is the highest award for foreign experts in Jilin Province, and it is the second time one of our foreign experts won this honor since 2017.

Anna came to work in the German Department of our school in 2018. Using language as a medium, she contributed wisdom and strength to promote the construction of our German major and courses. She guides students to better carry out professional learning and practice. She used her actions to build a bridge between Sino-German cultural communication and educational exchanges. During the Covid-19 epidemic, Anna had been concerned about the development of our school and students. She overcame difficulties to insist on teaching online and guaranteed the quality of teaching, which was highly praised by the students.

This award is not only a high evaluation of the teaching level and quality of our foreign experts, but also a full affirmation of the management work of foreign experts at JISU.
