On September 21, the winner list of the “Fight Against the Covid-19 and Love Our Country in Practice Together” Network Cultural Projects of Jilin Province. This event was jointly organized by the Publicity Department of the Education Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Network Ideological and Political Center of Colleges and Universities in Jilin Province, was announced. The video “Fight Against the Epidemic, We Are Together” made by JISU won second prize in the video category.

In this video, our students, by singing the same song together in nine languages, including Chinese, English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese and Russian, fully displays how the Chinese and foreign teachers as well as students in our school worked together to overcome the difficulties and challenges after Covid-19 sweeping through our homeland and other countries throughout the world. JISU paid much more attention to the health of teachers and students at home and abroad and ensure the security of the foreign teachers and students who stayed at the school. Our student volunteers dedicated themselves to epidemic prevention in their hometowns with selfless devotion. Our school always kept close communication with international partner universities to ensure the safety of our overseas students. Many alumni donated protective materials to our homeland and abroad. Everything they have done is for the sake of expressing their firm faith and determination to overcome the epidemic.
