Online Training on “Teaching Concepts” Under Way at JISU

A few days ago, an online training session was carried out by the Teaching Development Center to improve the faculties’ ability and level of Blended Learning (B-learning). Through a QQ group, 152 teachers watched the online training video of Professor Wu Nengbiao of Southwest University.

Wu Nengbiao, has a Ph.D, is a professor and Director of the Academic Affairs Department of Southwest University. Professor Wu is an expert in teaching evaluation of the Ministry of Education (ME), an expert in professional teacher training certification of ME, and an education supervisor of the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government. Professor Wu once delivered teacher training classes in hundreds of universities within 31 provinces (municipalities).

The training mainly includes three aspects. The first is to update the educational idea of enhancing students’ ability to adapt to the uncertain future. The second is to optimize teaching strategy so as to improve teaching effects. The third is to perfect the teaching plan to achieve seamless inter-linkage between online and offline teaching. Professor Wu comprehensively analyzed and explained his teaching philosophy, strategies and standards through presenting his personal teaching cases and elaborating on his teaching management experience.

The participants commented that they have accumulated useful experience for improving teaching ability and effectively integrate online and offline teaching through this video training.
