Security Department of JISU Goes to Great Length to Protect the Campus During the COVID-19 Epidemic

The COVID-19 outbreak has caused a lot of concern from citizens and also is the focus of attention for the Security Department of JISU. The Security Department carefully made an Emergency plan and took effective measures to ensure the safety of the campus.

“We must always keep in mind that taking defensive measures against the outbreak is our responsibility, and the safety of all staff and students on campus is our top priority.” The Security Guard Department emphasized these Principles repeatedly during meetings. In order to strengthen campus security, they locked the campus entrances and only let in authorized personal after taking their temperatures, registering them, and disinfecting the car.

The Security Department has also taken strong measure to heighten campus security. Not only did they increased campus patrol, but they also regularly check the dining halls, apartments and other places to ensure safety measures are being followed and there are no large gatherings of people.

“To ensure the safety of staff and students alike is always our mission. Facing this hard situation, we should protect them and safeguard our campus with all efforts,” said Liang Jisen, director of the Security Department. When the epidemic started, he led all the others in maintaining high alert and was in the frontline of fighting the epidemic almost every day. What’s more, many people from the Security Department brought extra disinfectant, gloves, masks, etc., to assist others in staying healthy and safe.

We work with our heart and soul because we love JISU and our work here.” Liang Jisen said, “Although we are under great pressure, people have reached out to us. President Qin He came to us to give personal guidance and encouragement, which only heightened our resolve. We firmly believe that under the strong leadership of the president and the joint efforts of all the security staff, we will surely protect the people in our care and win this war against the epidemic!”
