On October 17, 2019 the Jilin College Student’s Table Tennis Championships was held at the Changchun Vocational Institute of Technology. Under the leadership of Zuo Jingjiang, Director of Physical Education, and Jing Huixia, the coach, seven players from JISU participated and they received Runner-up in men’s doubles, Third place in mixed doubles, Sixth Place in terms of total score, Sixth Place of men’s doubles and Seventh Place in women’s doubles.

The Championships were hosted by Jilin Provincial Department of Education and organized by Jilin Student’s Sports Federation. Over one-hundred athletes from twenty-six teams participated in the game. The Sports Department of JISU attached great importance to this event and selected seven students (Shi Jingliang，Class 1601 of Arabic; Fu Guotai, Class 1801 of Persian; Wangyu, Class 1801 of Mongolian; Jin Han, Class 1901 of Portuguese; Wang Dongxue, Class 1802 of Translation; Yuan Ming, Class 1702 of Chinese Language and Literature; Pang Fengrui, Class 1903 of Business Management) to carry out rigorous training. In the match, they were calm and brave to strive towards their goals, which illustrated the struggling spirit and positive attitude of JISU students.

The competition gave students more experience, and facilitated us to further cultivate talents of table tennis and reform physical education.
