The School of General Education is comprised of the Department of Sports and the Department of Technology, offering various sports and computer courses at Jilin International Studies University (JISU). The School has dedicated, experienced and strict faculty members with proper professional titles, diplomas and age structures. Boasting two excellent courses and two model courses at a provincial level, and two excellent teaching teams at a provincial level, the school has won more than 40 provincial and national awards. It enjoys advanced teaching facilities, including a gymnasium, stadium, computer laboratory, office automation laboratory, and one provincial-level experimental teaching demonstration center.

Adhering to the mission of “All is for students to be integrated, talented and successful”, the school has been committed to exploring the characteristics and patterns of the private higher education system in the new climate. It has made continuous efforts to carry out teaching research and reform to elevate quality teaching. In addition, it has endeavored to lay a solid and sound teaching platform by putting forward an overall goal of “practicing scientific administration, improving teaching quality and building a top institute,” and setting a comprehensive system of teaching management.
